Al's Fast Freight

On the March Listen Project podcast Lend Me Your Ears, I talk with Howard and Ann Marie Micenmacher.  Ann Marie made her first appearance on the Cleveland music scene as the lead vocalist for the Walk-Ins.  She met Howard when they formed the Dandelion People in 1990.  After the demise of that band, Howard began an eight year run leading Al’s Fast Freight, Northeast Ohio pioneers of Americana and alt country while Ann Marie released a solo album under the name Anna Nausea.  Currently, the husband and wife duo perform together in Swamps of Jersey, a six piece Bruce Springsteen tribute band.
